The 54th PVI Co. A is looking for new recruits to fill there ranks. Help educate the public in the history of the American Civil War and the role the men from Johnstown served during the war. Honor the veterans of the 54th by recreating the battles that they fought and in some cases died at. Interested individuals can download the required paperwork at the bottom of the page.

The 54th also has a "Be a reenactor for a weekend program". This program allows perspective recruits to come out to a local event and be fully equipped for a weekend (minus food, and sleeping gear; tent provided). Its a nice way to see if you would enjoy the hobby as much as we do and get you started in the hobby. The only requirement is that you are over 15 yrs of age and if you're under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the event with you.
